Product Overview
The tag-filling efficiency of Federal Power-Shok has made it a legend in hunting camps from the northwoods to the mountains and everywhere in between. Two offerings in the 360 Buckhammer cartridge are adding a new chapter to the line’s story. The straight-wall cartridge is specifically designed for lever-actions, legal in more areas, and deadly-accurate past 200 yards. The .358 diameter bullet delivers energy and trajectory similar to 30-30 Win., with softer recoil for better accuracy in the field. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

I pulled apart both 180s and found no visible difference. Measurable, the differences were: 1) the powder charge on the Feds being 0.5 gr. less than Remmies (32.9) Note that powders looked exactly the same - similar to CFE BLK but not - mat-black nothing shining & perfectly uniform & only slightly flattened balls | 2) CBTO was 50 thou.longer on the Remmies - Neither were very consistent with CBTO. The Feds grouped just a tad better in my barrel & the Remmies were ~30 - 40 fps speedier. Also, the Feds were a bit cheaper if I remember.
